Spotlight: Well backed all three starts to date and things really clicked with a demolition of 13 rivals in maiden at Windsor (5f, good to firm; made all) in June; receives weight all round and her stable is on the crest of a wave after last week's July Cup success; still has untapped potential; interesting.

Spotlight: Outran odds of 80-1 when fifth of 23 to Havana Hurricane in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot (5f, good to firm) four weeks ago, taking well to first-time blinkers; should be thereabouts again but will do well to turn the form around.

Spotlight: 0-4 since debut win (5f, good) but form is on an upward curve, and he ran well facing a stiff task when fifth of seven in Group 2 at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) last week; will need another personal best under top weight.

Spotlight: Mid-field in Norfolk at Royal Ascot before readily landing the odds in maiden at Windsor (5f, good to firm) later in June; has a bit to find with some of these but he's going the right way and impossible to discount.

Spotlight: Steady progress first four outings, winning novice at Newmarket (6f, good) and fourth in conditions race at Epsom; however, he ran as if amiss in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot last month and needs to get back on track.

Spotlight: Came up short when favourite for French Listed event two weeks ago but she comes into the reckoning on her close second in a Group 3 at Chantilly (6f, good to soft) the time before; represents a yard with a wealth of talent in the juvenile department and commands plenty of respect.

Spotlight: Likeable filly with a progressive record and a willing attitude; dug deep to win maiden at Wetherby (5.5f, good to firm) in June and nursery at Haydock (5f, good) in July; this is a sterner test of her credentials but she may take another step forward.

Spotlight: Improving steadily and showed battling qualities to notch win number two at Newcastle (5f, AW; also successful on good to soft) last month; may not have reached his limit just yet but he's in much deeper today.

Spotlight: Green on debut and progressed markedly when beaten head at Beverley (5f, good to firm) next time, making much of the running; bred to be useful and almost certainly capable of better still; not ruled out at likely big odds.

Spotlight: Only fourteenth of 23 behind Havana Hurricane in the Windsor Castle, and he was a beaten favourite back in a novice at Ffos Las (tongue tied) next time; may not be fully exposed but this is a stern assignment.

Spotlight: Confirmed promise of first two outings when readily landing the odds in Musselburgh maiden (5f, good) 18 days ago; may still be unexposed but he has a good deal more on his plate in this field.

Spotlight: Two wins in the spring, justifying favouritism in novice at Salisbury (5f, good to firm) on second occasion, but he seemed to have his limitations exposed when down the field at Royal Ascot (33-1; slowly away as usual; subsequently gelded) last time; others preferred.

Spotlight: Beaten nose in Brocklesby on Doncaster debut and ran at least as well when runner-up in nursery at York (6f, good to firm) last Saturday; deserves a success but would be a surprise winner here in first-time headgear.

Spotlight: Made all in novice at Carlisle (6f, good to soft) in May and possibly raced on the unfavoured part of the course when beating just one home in Haydock nursery next time; now blinkered; faces an uphill task on these terms.
